It is now early January, which means we have to step back and take a look at what has happened this past year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

From a magical point of view, I had the opportunity in 2018 to achieve three projects that really meant a lot to me :<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

First of all, we completed my\u00a0brand new website<\/b>. Once again I must express my gratitude to Mathieu and his colleague for their professionalism and dedication as well as their patience! Lastly I was awarded\u00a02nd place<\/b>\u00a0at the\u00a02018 Daytona Beach International Festival of Magic<\/i>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I enjoyed the convention as well as spending all my time with my two Tampa close friends Denise and John who, once again, took very good care of me. Performing magic and attending conventions just under the sun and with my good friends,\u00a0what else<\/i>\u00a0!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Then of course there are my\u00a0new Bicycle decks<\/b>. Working with the\u00a0US Playing Card Co<\/i>\u00a0was both thrilling and intimidating. I sincerely thank the entire “Custom Projects” crew for the time they spent working with me, and a special thank you to my dear friend FX Goby for his beautiful layout and design work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”459″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1711032824796{margin-top: 20px !important;}”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Let’s also not forget a pleasant sunny afternoon in M\u00fcnich, Germany, with the incredibly talented and living encyclopedia of magic\u00a0Denis Behr<\/b>\u00a0(and a few pints…), some wonderful moments last February at the\u00a02018 Magic Blackpool Convention<\/b>\u00a0(UK), and being featured in a series of photographs shown at the Kulturhaus Kaerjeng Treff (Luxemburg)! This year I also discovered that my 2011 custom Bicycle decks were on display as one of the\u00a0Rare Bicycle Collections<\/i>, see picture below: the middle deck in the very bottom line is mine ![\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

It was also in 2018 that the outstanding 84 year old American magician Johnny Thompson\u00a0 suggested I send a demo video to the casting crew of the\u00a0Penn&Teller Fool Us\u00a0<\/b>TV show after I performed one of my closely guarded secrets for him ! This is an effect I have been using as my closer for most of my close-up shows and I was so pleased he got fooled and interested.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I will be attending a convention for close-up magic called\u00a0The Session<\/i>\u00a0in London, co-hosted by magicians J.Jay and A.Gladwin and including many special guests such as D.Daortiz and M.King. Then I will head to the United States for two or three trips, in Florida, Nevada and North Carolina (I guess). Lastly I should find the time to carry out another project that is really dear to me …\u00a0 to be continued ![\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
